Team America Rocketry Challenge (TARC)
In the past, we have competed in Team America Rocketry Challenge. This is a challenge to design, build, and launch a small rocket to 800 feet carrying one raw egg. The egg must survive the flight and the rocket must split into two sections before returning to the ground. The goal is between 46 and 48 seconds in the air after ignition. Qualifying flight scores are sent to Aerospace Industries Association, which determines the top 100 teams. These teams travel to Virginia in the spring to launch in a live competition.
